For more than a decade, life-long South Carolinian Stephanie Heikkila Holman has continually drawn on her life lived as a creator to innovate creative solutions and responses for her clients. As a young girl, she fell in love with creative storytelling through watching her grandfather work diligently in his art studio. From there, Stephanie continued to explore other creative fields beyond visual art, including theatre and music, as well as the then-budding field of website design. These experiences prepared her for her time at Coastal Carolina University in Conway, SC, where she spent four years honing her sense for visual aesthetics by pursuing a degree in visual arts and graphic design.
After spending years working in the marketing and publication fields as a graphic designer and art director, Stephanie felt drawn to dive deeper into communications and acquired a master’s degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from West Virginia University. At her time at WVU, Stephanie acquired the knowledge needed to become a more well-rounded creative leader, and was driven to continually develop innovative ways of making her existing design skills serve the larger purpose of unifying and deepening communication strategies.
Most recently, Stephanie served as the Creative Director for a political consulting and issue advocacy firm in Charleston where she created creative communication solutions for campaigns and organizations on both the local and statewide level.
Stephanie currently lives in Charleston with her husband Bates, a jazz percussionist and educator, and their three children.
