Casey Watson brings stories to life using her writing, videography and social media skills. The former reporter for WMBF News (NBC) in Myrtle Beach has interviewed presidential candidates, reported live during hurricane coverage and investigated critical issues, such as the number of first responders injured and killed while working along our roadways.
Casey is now bringing her message development, crisis management, and storytelling skills directly to businesses and organizations. She uses her knowledge to help clients build a relationship with the community they serve by telling stories via video, social media platforms and creating successful strategic communications campaigns.
When it comes to transparency in the media, Casey understands relationships between the client, public and media are vital in getting the right information out. To do this effectively, she believes it’s important that your business or organization has a plan in place on what you’d do when a disaster strikes. Using her experience as a breaking news reporter, she will work alongside our team of experienced journalists and PR professionals to develop a plan to be used to navigate a critical situation.
Casey believes it’s important to serve the community in which you live, with this in mind, she has recently joined the South Carolina Human Trafficking Task Force, Grand Strand Young Professionals and spends much of her time volunteering in the community.
When she is not working, Casey is studying for her master’s degree in strategic communications. An Alabama native, Casey Attended Troy University as a student-athlete, competing as a barrel racer on the rodeo team.
